ROTU: Chapter Two
Jalena woke three days later, starving and very thirsty. The container of water on her nightstand came into focus as she pried her eyelids open. She made a mental note to thank the crewmembers for leaving it for her as she eagerly downed the water.
She slowly pushed herself out of bed and made her way to the restroom to start a shower, hoping the water would relieve the ache in her body and head. With active thoughts returning to her mind, so also did Gyan's face and the reasons as to why she was now in another dimension. She sighed, wishing she could be more successful at selectively forgetting some things, and placed her forehead against the shower wall as the soothing warm water fell over her.
Her mind drifted to the other masters on Elsaria and the disappointment they expressed with learning they were to take another mission other than journey with her and Shamira to Earth. She wished she had consoled them more about Gyan's death than she found herself able to before they took their quest in the Realm of Illuse. She wondered how much time had passed in Elsaria and if each was still engaged in the trials set by the gold dragon in the Realm.
A knock at the bathroom door interrupted her thoughts.
"It's just me," Shamira said as she came in. She held a glass with green liquid in it over the shower door. "Drink. Lunara made it. She said it is from some of the plants that grow on Earth. It will help with the fatigue."
Jalena downed the sweet liquid without question and felt her weariness lift some. "When did you wake?" she asked.
"This morning. Most of the others are up now too."
"It certainly feels different here."
"I know. I don't like it. Lunara claims that we will be able to sense even more of the imbalance that plagues the globe once we reach the surface. I was going to eat and then meditate to practice adjusting my senses to this dimension."
"Wait for me. We should practice the Damsé and use Relasu to see how it differs here also."
"Will do. Meet you in the dining hall in fifteen."
When the two had completed their planned training, Lunara continued their lessons about humanity.
"The surface dwellers do not understand the world in the way Elsarians do. They operate with a sense of dualism when regarding most domains…good or bad. Many believe that they must follow a standardized set of specific rules that reflect their level of morality or behavior to be good or successful which provides a pattern for them to gauge their self-value. In general, they value similarity over diversity. So, you will see many living the same type of lifestyle for either fear of being condemned by others or for not being able to gain the same rewards that are promised by their standardized view of success versus failure or good versus bad.
"Unlike the majority of Elsarians, many are ignorant of the power that lies within tolerance for diversity and do not comprehend different perceptions beneficially. Because of this, many condemn or compete with others who hold different beliefs. Although you will encounter diverse beliefs within the world, they are not commonly used as a source of interest, depth, and strength as you are used to experiencing, but as an excuse for war."
"When they feel separated, they are easier to control," Shamira said.
"Exactly, and the dark forces used this to their advantage. The forces that feed off lower vibrational states are always creating circumstances that keep the species divided such as staging or manipulating events to create reactionary results. They provide an illusion of freedom that humans readily defend upon encountering these circumstances.
"Many governing forces are party to keeping humans disempowered this way. It is the way of a highly intelligent puppet master that plays on emotion. As a result, many humans live submerged in depression or remain products of their environment—never seeking to break free of the standardized conditions they have been trained to live."
"The perfect environment for Drasúl to rule," mentioned Jalena.
"Yes. Galinia is different from many planets. She serves as a discovery ground for expansion and knowledge for much of the population. Because of the expansive allowance of creation and lessons that have been learned on the planet, there is a large basis of knowledge that is stored in Galinia's time-space dimension. As a result, surrounding galaxy species highly covet the knowledge as well as resources on the planet. Most of them have been at war at one point or another with others wanting the same things from Galinia."
"So, the humans are emotionally manipulated by their leaders as well as influenced by species they are unaware of," said Jalena.
Lunara nodded. "Yes, but many leaders are being manipulated as well. Most humans remain ignorant of these truths and, while in their disempowered state, it is a good thing they are. They must reach a certain level of compassion and understanding before they are willing to embrace greater truths. They have not collectively learned to rely on inner strength since they have been trained to reach externally for knowledge and approval. If they learn that their trusted source of information is based on corruption masked by freedom, they would be lost and thus open to the control of darker entities even more than they are now."
"You mentioned that Master Jalena's arrival will stir an awakening within the Earth warriors," Nyhra said, "but can it effectively do so if they are buried and controlled by the darker forces?"
"Part of the masters' mission is to find the Galinian warriors, commonly known as the Conduits, who are needed to spread Galinia's core energy across the globe if Master Jalena. They are unlike other humans in that they are equipped with the code of knowledge representing the light of the Earth. Although knowledge of their power is buried, they will eventually be unable to resist Master Jalena's energetic call after she arrives given they will be required to assist if ever the Key needs to be activated.
"The Conduits as well as others sensitive to freedom and evolution will begin to think differently upon your arrival. As your presence stirs an awakening within the Conduits, their enlightenment will also cause a stirring within the collective. Then the Conduits will take the role of assisting the rest of humanity in their growth and desire for a different way of life.
"To break free of their mental and emotional imprisonment, there must be destruction of the old ways. As your presence on the planet creates a catalyst toward evolution, the old energy must be released to allow room for the new, even within the Conduits. Those who have not yet come to terms with the limitations they are living or have not released buried pain will feel a dissonance that must be transmuted from within. As a result, you will find that the Conduits may resist what you say at first but will understand the truth you speak over time. As internal conflict occurs, chaos increases until a strong desire for change gains momentum, until an energy shift must begin.
"Drasúl will unlikely be concerned with this although a substantial shift in humanity's consciousness will serve to create an energetic barrier for his complete rule because the more in tune to their core power humans become, the less likely they are to be easily misled."
"How will we know who is a Conduit?" asked Shamira.
"You will have to use your sight—Relasu—to see their true energy," Lunara replied. "You will know they are a Conduit when you see how their energy field differs from others around.
"What will set them apart from other evolved humans, however, is when you face them, you will hear their true name inside your mind. You are to speak the name aloud to them although they will not understand why you are saying it, as they go by a different name while in an unawakened state."
"If they do not believe that the power resides within them, then it will not matter if the warriors are awake or not, they will still not develop the power needed to counter Drasúl," Jalena said as she stood and studied the images of humans on the screen before them.
"You are the one assigned to Drasúl, Master Jalena," Nyhra reminded her. "They will not be able to face him directly and survive, so you must not put them on that path. They will only be able to assist you in activating the Earth's core at the time it is needed."
"They will still have to believe in who they are to surface enough power to amplify the energy of the Earth," replied Jalena.
"You are correct," Lunara agreed. "It will be part of your mission to get them to believe. No matter the resistance that they demonstrate at the beginning of your contact, you will trigger something inside of them that will set them on their path. All you must do is lead them, which you are more than prepared to do. They will follow you eagerly once they understand. Specifically, there are three that will be essential for you to find."
Shamira raised her eyebrows. "Just three?"
"There are more surface warriors that will awaken naturally in time, but to amplify the power of the planet's core, three specific Conduits are who you need to balance the grid of power. They are to train as energy warriors."
"Do we even need the help of the Earth Conduits?" Shamira asked. "If we get rid of Drasúl before his rule spreads, then we do not need to search for them."
"There is more to it," replied Lunara. "Other dark forces besides the Avehkal and Drasúl will gather together now that Drasúl has arrived on the planet. Although you will have assistance from the warriors of the Inner Realms, you will not only be encountering Drasúl and the Avehkal but also the Cinak and others we have discussed.
"If Drasúl gathers a dark army to rule over the humans and you leave the planet without guiding the Conduits to their potential, even in his absence, they and the rest of humanity will be left unprotected. The Conduits' amnesia has worked in their favor up until now. Drasúl does not know of their existence, because they themselves do not know who they are. The dark forces believed the birth of the Conduits ended when the incarnation of the Light Key did."
Jalena met Shamira's eye. "Then we will have to find and help them before we return to Elsaria."
"There are some humans open to messages of beings from other dominions outside of Earth. The Galactic Alliances have employed some who are trusted to assist you already. Even though the majority of humans have been conditioned to remain disempowered, I assure you that if you can awaken the Conduits, you will have done enough to start a momentum of energy that will serve to move humanity to a higher dimension of living. There will be other energetic forces that will assist in this, for this is what the planet herself wishes. If you fail to do this, the entire planet will suffer as well as the connecting dimensions.
"As previously discussed, though humans speak a similar language and are similar in appearance, it is important that you remember that most do not behave in thought and deed as Elsarians. The imbalance that you sense in this world is a result of the imbalance within the collective. You are entering a system of illusioned slavery where disrespect for self and others dominates. As a result, the feminine and masculine balance of energy has been corrupted, so do not fool yourselves into thinking most are like Elsarians despite surface behaviors. Both the masculine and feminine energy have been abused and the races have played their roles accordingly, believing and participating in what they have been conditioned to.
"It is important that you rely mostly on your intuitive skills to understand them because of the disconnect in the general population between their heart and mind." Lunara turned to gaze out the ship window before her with a look of tenderness. "Given this, I must say that there is love among many who have followed the guidance within, so there are also those whose laughter and care will remind you of home."
"You carry much hope for this race despite their nature to self-destruct," noted Shamira.
"I do," Lunara replied. "In the beginning, it was not the way it is now. Humans used to be capable of great feats. Their abilities were like that of the Avehkal, if not more powerful. With outside interferences from other races in the galaxy desiring control of the planet, that all changed. Their potential to contribute greatly to this galaxy is the reason I so adamantly insisted on being a part of the team that has chosen to guide their evolution.
"Unfortunately, many other species do not share the same hope for their evolution. They hold the race in a condescending gaze. This judgment, accompanied by the desires for the lands of the planet, is the main reason the Galactic Federation, one of the sectors of the Intergalactic Alliance that oversees the evolution of Earth, created strict rules regarding outside interference. However, this will change in time with the desire for progression that you unlock within the Conduits. They will not reach their potential, otherwise, and remain buried in truth. This species will not rediscover the power they possess until higher conscious energy dominates their heart and mind.
"Sorry to interrupt," Sade voiced through the intercom, "but thought you may want to know that our new galaxy has come into view."
